Shaftesbury Wedding Photographer – Simon and Jen – Dorset weddings

I first met Simon and Jen in Shaftesbury by gold hill (i’d parked at the bottom). This is the same Gold Hill of Hovis advert fame 🙂
This was back in 2010. I was booked as their wedding photographer and we did an eshoot in the New Forest complete with rain and pigs 🙂
Fast forward to 2012 and their Wedding Day was lovely – a bit winder but it stayed dry 🙂

I started off with Jen at home getting some make-up finished off.

Then I went onto the church in shaftesbury where I took some photographs of Simon on golds hill with his best men and ushers.

Dorset Asian Wedding Photography – Sneak Peek – Saira and Rizwan – Cams Hall, Fareham

This weekend saw me take on an Asian wedding out of Dorset. The venue was the lovely Cams Hall in Fareham, Hampshire. The staff there are amazing and so helpful too! Highly recommended!

You may remember the Engagement party that I photographed in Southampton last year. I photographed the Mehndi on Thursday of this week (sneak peek of that to follow at some stage).

The food was brilliant as was the DJ and the event staff.

The colours at an Asian wedding are awesome! it’s so colourful and a great celebration! I loved the whole day and the fact that everyone was so friendly!

It was actually really difficult to choose a sneek peak from all the wonderful wedding photographs from their day. Already I can see it’s going to be an epic blog post! So much happening and so many stunning photos, really can’t wait for them to see them.

Anyway I decided to choose one from the bridal preparations… So here’s Saira looking serene before the ceremony.

Dorset Wedding Photographer – Second Shooting

I love photographing Dorset weddings, and as a Dorset wedding photographer I love it. I also love honing my skills – be it through street photography, or second shooting. Second shooting allows me to hone my skills with much less pressure.
One of the things I particularly love about second shooting is looking for that second angle that will aid the main photographer. Thanks to Andy Rapkins here are a few from weddings where i’ve assisted/second shot of me in action!
