Highcliffe Castle Christchurch

Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch is situated in the coastal town of Christchurch, on the cliff-top. There is easy access to the beach for wedding photography and the light inside the castle is very good for photography at any time of the year. The registrars and staff at the Highcliffe Castle are also very friendly and professional. There are plenty of hotels nearby for your guests to stay at and you have the option of having just the wedding ceremony at the castle or the wedding breakfast and reception here too.

Hotel Du Vin Poole Dorset

Hotel du Vin is a boutique hotel situated on Poole Quay in Dorset. It is possible to having your wedding preparations here and also to get married here too. The food and service are very good. If you are thinking of getting married at The Hotel du Vin then please contact me to ask how I could be your wedding photographer.

Poole is on the South coast of England and is the gateway to Sandbanks, and Devon and Cornwall are within easy reach here too. Here is a photograph of the outside of the Hotel du vin – showing the lovely ivy that covers the outside walls.

This last week has been very busy here – I was lucky enough to be invited along to shoot at Upton house – they now offer weddings using the house and grounds! After shooting these vintage bridal and wedding images I can say it looks like it will be an amazing wedding venue to get married at in dorset!

Dorset Wedding Photography – Shaftesbury – Simon and Jen – Sneak peek

I first met Simon and Jen on gold hill, shaftesbury, dorset. Where the hovis advert was filmed 🙂
The wedding day came around all too quickly and despite there being a cheese carrying competition we managed a wedding photograph on the famous gold hill. Thanks to Simon and especially Jen for braving the hill in her heels!
This next photo is quite literally the last one of the day, taken with my new nikon D800, I took it in the marquee whilst everyone else was off to the sides enjoying themselves at the reception.

The Kings Hotel in Christchurch is a stunning georgian hotel in the heart of the city. Plenty of parking nearby in the city car parks and some wonderful views over the river. It has it’s own green opposite and also has the pavilion opposite.
