I first met Simon and Jen in Shaftesbury by gold hill (i’d parked at the bottom). This is the same Gold Hill of Hovis advert fame 🙂
This was back in 2010. I was booked as their wedding photographer and we did an eshoot in the New Forest complete with rain and pigs 🙂
Fast forward to 2012 and their Wedding Day was lovely – a bit winder but it stayed dry 🙂
I started off with Jen at home getting some make-up finished off.
Then i got one of Jens lovely Wedding Dress hung up 🙂
Then I went onto the church in shaftesbury where I took some photographs of Simon on golds hill with his best men and ushers.
and what wedding would be complete without some extreme ring photography?
Then the lovely bridesmaids arrived at the church.
Mow the lovely bride – Jen – arrived at the church in a lovely shiny vintage car – I love window shots in the car.
And a discreet one from the service taken in time with the baby crying in silent mode 🙂
I love moments like this during the signing of the register
and one just as they come out of the church
and it’s time to head off for the reception – here they guests snap away for their own memories.
whilst we head off to to golds hill to do some natural and relaxed bride and groom photographs
Then we arrive at the reception venue and do a classic car and venue photograph
loved the cake topper here
love little moments like this at weddings – genuine fun and expressive documentary wedding photography
This is of course the cutting the cake shot.
Some wonderfully expressive speaches here – here’s Jen’s Dad pointing out a guest at the end of the room.
and some brilliant humour from Simon our athletic Groom 🙂
I’m sure she won’t thank me – but – this bridesmaid had such an expressive laugh it has to make the blog.
The best men didn’t do a bad job either.
Next up – it was party time.
Finally a nice off camera flash image.
