Trunkwell House Wedding Photography – Mic and Nic

After an awesome week photographing food and drink in Surrey I was off to Trunkwell House Hotel for the wedding of Mic and Nic #micandnicwedding2016 on instagram. Thanks to Naomi for recommending me for this wedding it was awesome!

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! Awesome bride! Awesome groom! Super hot bridesmaids, super hot groomsmen! In fact everyone looked amazing and were so friendly too!

We were treated amazingly by the staff at Trunkwell House Hotel too – BBQ and Hogroast all in one day cannot be bad!

Although there were a few bits on inclement weather everyone had an awesome time and I’ll remember this wedding for a long time to come!

Andy and Jo get married at the Victorian Barn

Andy and Jo got married in a lovely personal wedding ceremony at the Victorian Barn near Blandford in Dorset.

An intimate ceremony gave way to a wonderful afternoon of their closest family and friends with more guests arriving in a phased approach for coffee and cake at tea time and more in time for the evening party. This is the first time I’ve seen such an approach and it worked really well!

As usual the team at the Victorian barn did an amazing job, Penny and the girls always do a fab job at making sure it all runs smoothly including the caterers who prepared some amazing food and I also got to try some of the delicious treats too, not forgetting my favourites the bar staff 🙂

Jamie and Amy – Sopley Mill Summer Wedding Photography

A scorching bank holiday weekend filled with three weddings. The first of these weddings was back at Sopley Mill where I’ve been quite a bit recently along with Tim. I enjoy shooting with Tim as I can relax and concentrate on getting the candid shots and fun shots which I enjoy (We also managed to go on the bouncey castle during the meal too which was amazing). It was great to chat with the Caterer Dawn from Claret Catering too and many thanks for sorting us out with some delicious food and delicious desert! Much appreciated indeed! Thanks Dawn! Was great seeing Jason too from Dorset Dubhire.. I think he might think i’m stalking him by now (honest i’m not).
I even managed to get some panoramic 360s durin the wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast so you can see what Sopley Mill looks like setup for a sopley mill wedding breakfast and during the sopley mill wedding ceremony.

What an awesome wedding! I’m back from a great day with Al and Zoe. It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a wedding at the Coppleridge Inn. A wonderful sunny day with wonderful people is hard to beat for a wedding and an outdoor woodland ceremony with harpist was a great way to spend my Saturday!

Dan and Kate get married! A wonderful Longhouse Bruton Wedding

Dan and Kate got married in a church in Milborne Port (St John the Evangalist), and then off to the Longhouse in Bruton for the wedding reception. What a wonderful wedding this was to photograph, so many lovely people, great to see some old couples (not old, old.. just I’d seen them before). We had a damp day, but, that just made for a more intimate wedding with everyone staying together and chatting together! Such a wonderful atmosphere!

It was the first time I’d photographed a wedding at the Longhouse in Bruton, what an amazing venue. Can’t wait to edit the many photographs from the day! Here’s a taster of some portraits and some fun bridesmaids and groomsmen shots.
