Shiplake College Reading Wedding Photographer – Megan and Mathew

Saturday saw me up in Reading, where the day started at a lovely church called St Mary’s church in Wargrave. There was a Regatta on so I ended up going on Mathews fathers boat with Megan and Mathew along the Thames to Shiplake college for the wedding reception. Shiplake college has some impressive grounds and a lot of history and best of all a balcony to shoot the wedding breakfast and speeches from 🙂 What a top day and thanks again to Tim for having me along as second again. It’s a great combination.

Megan and Matt had a wonderful day. There was a boat trip which was sublime. Many thanks to Patrick for being the captain and getting us safely along the Thames despite the regatta that was taking place. It was lovely to be involved in the day and the weather held off at just the right times to make it a dry day.

The speeches took part in between the courses, which whilst unusual meant that people weren’t having to wait a long time before the meal or have a lot of sitting down at the end. Some truly funny moments and reactions too. The slideshow by the Father of the bride was brilliant and Megan’s reactions to some of the photos and video clips was brilliant. The evening saw a hog roast served and also saw a fire juggling act which again the weather held off enough that it could be performed outdoors.
