Highcliffe Castle Wedding Photographer

Today saw me at Highcliffe Castle near Christchurch in Dorset for the wedding of Gemma and Sean, I was once again assisting my esteemed college Mr Churchill. We had brilliant sunshine today which is great after the decidedly dubious weather we’d been having recently. I thought i’d put a quick peek up for you to see before getting ready for another wedding tomorrow, this time in Southampton.

Highcliffe is a great venue, there’s the castle, the beach nearby and lots of little places nearby where you can stop, it’s a wedding photographers dream in many ways!

After the wedding, Tim did the formal photographs whilst I made myself busy with capturing the unposed moments that I love to capture at weddings, there lots of cute little kids enjoying themselves with bubbles and lots of people enjoying the sunshine, I dare say that the Scottish among the guests must have especially relished the brilliant sunshine on the south coast. From Highcliffe castle we then went onto steamer point which is an easy accessible beach nearby that saves the trek down the long steps from the Castle directly. After a few photographs there it was onto the reception at the 5-star Lord Bute, the staff there are super friendly. Tim and myself were treated to a delicious meal by Gemma and Sean, I had chicken and Tim had the beef. Alas no bacon though.

Then it was onto the wedding speeches. The speeches were very amusing and obvsiouly written from the heart.
