Awesome Relaxed Garden Marquee Wedding Photography – Amy and James

Scorchio! What an awesome and relaxed wedding it was this weekend. The weather helped us all too, the beautiful british summer well and truly had his hat on for Amy and James’ wedding at Poole Guildhall. I started off at Amy’s parents awesome house near Christchurch and was gobsmacked by what I saw there! Amy had properly gone to town with decorating the marquee with so much attention to detail I nearly exploded on the spot. Look out for a virtual tour of it below! This has to be the most awesome and amazingly relaxed garden wedding I’ve had the good fortune to photograph! I shot some video of the wedding ceremony too which you can see below.

After some preparation with Amy and her bridesmaids all the guests departed to Poole Guildhall on a red route-master bus. I was in hot pursuit, in fact we arrived so early that the previous wedding was still going on! After some time the last wedding moved on and we were able to move inside Poole Guildhall and prepare for Amy’s arrival. Being super organised Amy was actually early too, but, better early than late. It was slightly warm inside the guildhall and I could see James sigh with relief when the doors opened and Amy walked down the aisle towards him looking AMAZING in her gorgeous wedding dress! After a fab ceremony with a charismatic registrar there were a few photographs on the steps outside before everyone being ushered back onto the red bus and heading back to Amy’s parents garden where the marquee of awesomeness awaited! James, Amy and myself stopped off en route at a super secret location with ferns, trees and greenery aplenty for some photos of themselves with some lovely greenery. I shared a couple of these below as a special treat 🙂

We then headed back to the Garden Marquee to enjoy a superb afternoon of fun, superb food and wonderful wonderful people! It truly was a pleasure to be along for the ride! I can’t wait to edit the rest of the photos now! See you soon guys!
