The Italian Job: Hannah and Dean get married!

Hannah and Dean are both awesome people. I knew from talking to them and then after our pre-wedding shoot that their wedding would be superb and I wasn’t disappointed. Starting off with Hannah getting ready at the Plantation Hotel in Canford CLiffs then with the ceremony and reception at one of my recommended supplied venues The Italian Villa with the balmy October weather then all the ingredients for an idyllic italian themed wedding were set.

All the guests were super fun and all Hannah’s bridesmaids were ace, as were the family and friends too! What a great day for a wedding.

I’m going to leave you with one of the final shots of the day which we sneaked away to take after some epic salsa dancing!

Longhouse wedding photographer in Somerset – Chris and Clo get married!

What a wonderful summer wedding at the Longhouse in Bruton, Somerset. I love Chris and Clo from when I first met them so it was an honour to be asked to be their wedding photographer at one of my favourite wedding venues in Somerset.

The day started brightly with me meeting Clowance and her family at their home not too far away from Bruton where they had a wonderful vintage VW camper van to take them to the wonderful Longhouse for the wedding ceremony!

The longhouse had been truly made special inside with the decorations and the unique lego figures for everyone on their place setting – what an amazing idea! After an amazing personal ceremony it was time for the celebrations to truly begin, starting with home made confetti then summer drinks for everyone to enjoy on this super sunny day!

Before we knew it everyone was coming in for dinner not before some photographs of course! Such a amazing location for wedding photography! And such fabulous food too! Was good to see some familiar faces there too!

Next up were some fabulous speeches and then it was party time as everyone could relax! Some fun times were had by all and we also managed to do some night photos to take in all the colours!

Wonderful Wimborne Wedding – Kirsty and Jonny’s Deans Court Wedding

Jonny and Kirsty got married on a wonderful summers day in August, obviously this being England and it being summer we had thunders and torrential rain.. luckily we also had lots of sunshine and lots of smiles too!

I started with Kirsty at the family home before going to Marnhull Church for the ceremony that also saw her Broth Alistair Get married a couple of years ago! My colleague Bob was with the boys and he told me he got a bacon sandwich which made me gutted 🙂

After a lovely service it was off to Deans Court in Wimborne for the reception, a lovely venue with lots of greenery. We did some portraits then played dodge the showers to get some more later on.

The speeches we hilarious and I loved the Father of the Bride telling my favourite wedding joke of the cake being in tiers 🙂

It was then time for the evening festivities including the band and some awesome dancing before finishing off with a few night portraits before heading back home 🙂

A lovely Trunkwell House Wedding – Helen and Martin get married

Welcome to another wonderful wedding at Trunkwell House! Helen and Martin were so cute during the whole day and everyone was so much fun to photograph. It was also the first time I’ve seen fairground style stalls for evening entertainment, including a delicious hog roast and bacon for the evening guests to eat! The rest of the food was ace too. I always enjoy photographing weddings here as the grounds and views are beautiful!

After a beautiful ceremony there were lots of people having fun and chatting around the grounds and enjoying the drinks!

The speeches were also great and heartfelt too, always a pleasure hearing them.

I managed to avoid being hit by coconuts at the coconut shy, and also the crossbows. Helen and Martin were great letting me take them away a couple of times to get some portraits including the nearby field!
