The Connaught Hotel Bournemouth is a hotel in the centre of bournemouth near the beach and caters for weddings, events and conferences. The gardens are lovely intimate enclosed so you get plenty of privacy.

Canford School Dorset Wedding Photographer – Rachel and Jack

Canford School was the location for the wedding of Jack and Rachel on a wonderful summers day. I was working with Tim (you’ll see a photo of him in the images below). It was a brilliant day. Fun, relaxed and with friends and family in attendance. Canford school is great for wedding photography, the school makes a great backdrop to weddings and also has plenty of grounds for portraits.

The day started with Jack waiting nervously for Rachel to arrive. Rachel arrived wearing an awesome dress. The detail and everything on the dress was superb. After a wonderful ceremony in the hall it was off outside to enjoy the weather and for people to have some fun outside with the school as a great backdrop to the photos. There were some brilliant wedding speeches too before the wedding breakfast which looked fabulous in the great hall there. I can imagine the children who study here have a great amount of fun here. It was then time to relax before the evenings formalities and first dance. After this was a great party!

Elvetham Wedding Photography – Rowland and Ali

The Elevetham in Hook Hampshire is perfect for wedding Photography and Ali and Rowlands wedding day was perfect weather. Lovely sunshine and glorious blue skies!
The day started with me arriving at the Glorious Elevetham. I then went and met with Alison where I got about photographing Alis gorgeous wedding dress and shoes. I also captured some natural wedding reportage images of her in her dressing gown with her mother getting ready. I went and met with Rowland and his best man as we explored the stunning grounds and decided where we’d take the formal portraits later on. Guests started arriving then before the ceremony. I then went and photographed Ali some more before she came down the spiral staircase and entered behind the page boys who were putting petals down to herald her journey. I’d setup 2 cameras during the ceremony – triggered by wireless remotes – thats how I managed to get pictures from down the aisle and at the front in case you were wondering 🙂
After the ceremony it was outside for drinks and canapes. I believe there were some awesome little bacon treats too! After we’d all had some fun in the garden including a really really old oak tree we photographed with special significance it was time for the wedding breakfast.

The wedding breakfast room is amazing! old books and a great space for any wedding breakdast. Some great speeches by Rowland, The father of the bride and the best man had everyone enjoying themselves. After dinner it was time for the Cake cutting and dancning. Whilst more evening guests turned up we did the first dance and then partied the night away! what an awesome wedding!
