Larmer Tree Gardens Dorset

Larmer Tree Gardens Dorset

The Larmer Tree Gardens Dorset is a wedding and event venue that has some spectacular grounds and is famous for it’s peacocks! They can often be seen during weddings and Events. The Larmer Tree Gardens also host the Larmer Tree Festival with several big names having played there over the years such as the levelers and Jools Holland to name two that spring to mind. The staff at the Larmer tree are very efficient and I love photographing weddings here because I am always so well looked after here. If you’re looking at this venue and want to have a chat with me about your wedding photography then I’d love to hear from you so please get in touch.

Photographer Corner: Pocket Wizard FlexTTs

For you photographers out there then this is for you.

I’ve been shooting with the new Pocket wizards for a while now. These are great and let you mix speedlights off camera with ETTL shooting (or nikon equivalent if you choose those ones).
So I thought I’d shoot a little video to show you whats possible, and that you don’t need big studio heads if you’re shooting people.

Engagement photography – Behind the Scenes on the beach

You may have seen that I offer engagement photography for all my couples when you book me to photograph your wedding. Well why? Well I believe that by adding this to the mix we get to know each other that little bit better, and by getting to know each other better not only does that make for better photographs on your wedding day but also means things run more smoothly, you’re less worried about your wedding photographs and can even feel confident enough to suggest what you would and wouldn’t like.

So I put together this little behind the scenes video to show you what an engagement shoot is like (it’s fun). So sit back, and relax!

Thanks!

Asian and Polish wedding photography in Dorset, Parley Manor, sneak peek – Vil and Kinga

Some weddings make you excited at the sound of them. Though this fits all my weddings to be honest this year! Got some real awesome dorset weddings and also some awesome non-dorset ones too 🙂

It’s all about the people. After meeting Vil and Kinga at their home in Bournemouth I knew that a big Asian (Indian) wedding and a big Polish wedding (which i’ve photographed before) would be an awesome fusion wedding mix!

And the day was no dissappointment, despite the (very good omen) monsoon conditions the day was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and the whole day was ram packed with photographic goodness.

Here’s a sneak peek that for me sums up the wedding day – this was the first of the first dances 🙂

Asian wedding photography

I can’t wait to do more Indian Wedding photography, or some more Asian Wedding photography or Polish for that matter. I might just start specialising in fusion and eclectic mix wedding photography from now on (That was an Idea my second shoot for the day MisterPhill came up with too – so it must be good!)

Stay tuned for more installments (there will be a lot!)
