Wedding photography testimonial – Happy Clients = Happy Me!

I love it when I have happy clients… it’s even better when they write to me to let me know as it gives me a warm go-ey feeling inside me.

I had one such letter come postcard this christmas from some an amazing couple who’s wedding I photographed up in London earlier this year. The wedding took in great catholic church, the great parks and we ended up near the naval college in greenwich. We even experienced a rainbow! It was an amazing day and sums up everything I love about being a wedding photographer… look out for the rest of the pictures in an upcoming blog post… for now see the sneak peek here.

Here is the front of the lovely postcard Simon and Marissa sent me.

the text reads:
Dear Greg,

thankyou so much for doing a beautiful ‘job’ at our wedding. You (along with ned) managed to capture some amazing moments which will allow us to hold on to those very special memories in a colourful and vivid way. We certainly didn’t realise what a huge process this ‘photographing your wedding’ business was and we – more than anything – appreciate so much your patience and flexibility. You were funny, easy going and supportive throughout and that meant the world to us. thanks again.

thanks guys!

A Magical Christmas Eve wedding – Morton House Hotel, Corfe Castle – Dorset wedding photography – sneak peek – Claire and Rob

This Christmas eve I was asked to photograph the wedding of Rob and Claire, and what an honour it was. Christmas eve is such a magical time of year and is so romantic!

We started the day at the Blandford Registry office (which is literally walking distance to me), which they’d put a full christmas tree in!

Then it was straight off to the morton house hotel in corfe castle for the celebration and reception afterwards. This was no traditional wedding though as Claire and Rob had done away with the formal wedding breakfast and instead had a lovely and relaxed buffet reception with delicious food and drinks.

Here are a few of my favourites so far!

Here is one with Corfe Castle in the background.

and of course we couldn’t have a christmas eve wedding without christmas trees could we?

and finally we have a signature shot with lighting to give us the beautiful blue sky,

Haldon Belvedere – Devon wedding photography – Gemma and Reah – Sneak peek

Haldon Belvedere – Devon wedding photography – Gemma and Reah – Sneak peek

I love winter weddings in devon. It’s such a beautiful part of the country to photograph a wedding in at this time of year. I was lucky enough to be asked to second shoot for a good friend of mine this Wednesday Claire Sloane. I covered reah getting ready in her hotel room whilst claire covered gemma getting ready. Both wore such amazing wedding dresses.

The wedding was between Gemma and Reah – both brides looked stunning and I felt honoured to be allowed to capture the day. The wedding itself was at an awesome tower castle which was superb (if a little cold upstairs). The lighting and everyones warmth shone through though to make this an awesome wedding to photograph.

The wedding started off at the Great Western Hotel at The Lord Haldon Hotel, near Exeter, Devon, then we went to the Haldon Belvedere for the ceremony… a wonderful castle which was amazing!

Here’s one of my favcourites from the day and don’t forget to check out Claires website and gallery for the full set.
