My Alternative review of my wedding photography in 2014

I thought I’d do something different in my wedding photography review this year. My 2013 review was a look back on some of my favourite portraits and moments of 2013 (you can see that here and part 2 here). This year I thought I’d be more ruthless and not pick what everyone would call the best portraits or setup shots of the year. This time I wanted a more random and tighter collection of photography that reminded me a little more of the year gone by. I ended up with a minuscule 76 images which i wanted to share with you below. I’ve made them into a 3 minute slideshow so that should stop you getting too bored watching it.

I’ve been lucky to work at lots of Venues this year. I’ve worked in Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset, Bristol and even overseas on the Isle of Wight 🙂 I’ve taken thousands of images, these were some fun moments that reminded me of the year. Here’s to some new memories this year! Bonus Points if you can spot Italian Villa, Bartley Lodge, Kingston Country Courtyard, Portland Castle, Cumberland Hotel, Parley Manor, Kings Hotel, The Old Vicarage, Moonfleet Manor, A farm, River Cottage, Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy, Poole Guildhall, Stable Bar, Orangery Suite, Clock Barn, Tunnels Beaches, Rhinefield House, East Close Hotel, Green House Hotel and some secret other ones.

My alternative selection of wedding photography throughout 2014

Thanks to all my bride and grooms and for all the people who had me along as a second photographer throughout the year. As you can see I am not just a.n.other wedding photographer, I offer something different and something unique. If that sounds like you and you would like to talk to me about your wedding photography then please contact me using the link above or email me.

Wedding Photography at The Old Vicarage Christchurch – Photography in the Dark

I attended my first wedding at the Old Vicarage last year with Roy and Natasha, and wowsers what an awesome wedding it was. You can see the full blog post of Roy and Tasha’s epic Old Vicarage wedding. Why am I rambling on about a wedding at the Old Vicarage anyway I hear you ask? Well great question, I’m glad you asked.

Natasha (the awesome bride) – had mentioned she loved the fair lights and it would be lovely to have a photograph there to show off the lights. Using my awesome ninja photography skills and years of lighting experience and ability to adapt, plan and execute the perfect image. Wedding photographs taken in available darkness is a real skill and I’m sure you’ll agree here Roy and Natasha look awesome on their wedding day in the dark.
