Montacute House Somerset Wedding Photography Venue

Montacute House Somerset Wedding Photography Venue

Please Note that Montacute house isn’t available as a wedding venue any longer. Other nearby options are:

TinTinHull Gardens and Barrington Court.

Montacute House is a Somerset venue set in the village of Montacute. It is owned and operated by the National Trust, so if you are a national trust member you can have a good look around to see if it is suitable for your wedding. Before being owned by the national trust Montacute House was built by Sir Edward Phelips. Montacute house remained with Sir Edwards family for over 3 centuries. Montacute house is situation near the Town of Yeovil in Somerset and has some wonderful gardens and grounds that would make a great backdrop for any wedding. There is plenty of parking and lots of places for guests to stay at nearby. I have visited Montacute house several times now and it’s a fabulous place steeped with history. Even if you’re not having a wedding I’d recommend a trip here to take a look around and have a cream tea in the cafe.

Here are some pictures I’ve taken at Montacute House. If you are thinking of getting married in Somerset then please contact me and ask me about my wedding photography.
