As a professional wedding photographer I enjoy all sorts of weddings. I love midweek weddings too they’re fun and an enjoyable to photograph. There is such a wide variety of venues in dorset. I think weekday weddings are become more popular because your money can go further at a venue than a weekend, lots of places do special deals if you choose to get married on a weekday. Sometimes thats because you can invite less people, and sometimes it’s because the venue hire is a little bit cheaper for a weekday. It’s always worth checking if your chosen wedding venue offers special rates and packages. I know Chewton Glen offer special packages for weekday weddings.

Why get married on a weekday?

Well you might find all your family and friends work on a weekend so a weekday it more convenient. Or it could be that you really like mondays! 🙂

Whatever the reason if you can save money by having your wedding on a different day and you want to make your money go a bit further then why not?
