Various Faces of the moon

The moon has fascinated man (and woman) for a long time. It’s truly beautiful.
I’ve always taken a few shots with the moon in (In fact one couple wanted a shot with the moon in the background).
I’ve recently bought a telescope and an adapter that lets me mount either a dSLR or a little compact camera – here are a selection of photographs taken using a Fuji finepix 30, a sony cybershot, a canon 550, a nikon D800, a Panasonic GX1, and a Nikon D5100. Taking pictures through the telescope is tricky as getting it lined up is difficult as the moon moves through the picture surprisingly fast. Not something you’d expect from the moon is it? The moon actualy travels at about 1km/s – thats pretty fast for something the size of the moon.
