Trash the Dress – Dorset Wedding Photographer

As a wedding photographer I sometimes get asked by people who’ve been married and still have their dress to take some more photographs in a different location. Sometimes this is because there is a special location they’d like some photographs with the dress. This could be the Sea in Weymouth, a river in the new forest, a train like the orient express or on a merry go round or amusement arcade (all places I’ve photographed wedding dresses a second time in). Sometimes this is with the husband, sometimes it’s all about the bride and the dress. For Ollie and Gemma who are featured today is was that they got married overseas (no not the Isle of Wight but Malta). We met up in the new forest at a secret location :D.

Run in the Sea/River in Weymouth or the New Forest

We started off near the water where Gemma was wearing her awesome dress and Ollie was wearing a sharp suit. After some photographs by the water we moved onto more open areas with some horses and some road signs. We then took advantage of the lush foliage the new forest offers as a great contrast to suits and man made fabrics. I love this set of images and the great feel it gives.
