So after seeing a couple of examples of flour photoshoots and even a video I thought it would be awesome to try and do the same thing.
Now there had been a heath fire near upton in Poole, Dorset. So this seemed like a great idea – a kind of scorched earth thing. So me and a couple of chums (Rich Meston and Graham Fry) decided to meet up with a great girl I know called Olivia (you may remember her from other photoshoots such as in the Blandford studios Photoshoot)
So we met up near the heath in Poole and set out for our epic photoshoot. As you can see lighting wise we had one speedlight at the front and one at the back. Both of these were triggered by Pocketwizard FlexTTs remotely. for those techheads amonst you settings were about ISO200, f/8 and 1/250th – so under X-sync 🙂
It took a while to setup after we found the right location – but I think it was worth it. As a footnote we did also get some icing sugar but didn’t use it, we hope to use that next time.
I also made a little BTS video – so please let me know what you think via the comments box below!
Enjoy!
