There is something genuinely special about stripping a wedding day back to its absolute heart. When you gather just your closest circle on a hilltop in Somerset, the entire day slows down—leaving room for real conversation, belly laughs, and zero pressure.
That was the exact vibe at Pennard Hill Farm for this gorgeous autumn micro wedding.
Perched high above the Glastonbury festival valley with views rolling out across the Mendips, the farm provided the most relaxed backdrop imaginable. After a calm morning of prep in the rustic stone cottages, everyone made their way down the garden path to the licensed wooden pagoda for an intimate outdoor ceremony surrounded by lush greenery.
From the emotional vows and a lively burst of confetti to chilled drinks in the sheltered herb garden courtyard, the atmosphere was completely effortless. Later in the afternoon, everyone gathered inside the feasting barn—warm, rustic, and dressed with long timber tables, flickering candles, and autumn florals—before rounding off the evening relaxing with drinks under the courtyard festoons.
Here is a quick first look at a few favourite frames from an unforgettable, relaxed day in the Somerset countryside.
