Parley Manor Wedding Photographer Christchurch Dorset – Kinga and Vil – a wet wedding

Parley Manorin Chrichchurch Dorset is a great wedding venue. It’s a lovely venue that is very lush in summer and has great provisions for wet wweather. As we all know in the UK we can’t control the weather, Kinga and Vil’s wedding was a Polish and Asian Fusion wedding. I’ve photographed Polish weddings before and also Asian Weddings so it was great to have a Polish-Asian fusion. I’d photographed Kinga and Vil on their engagement shoot at Hengistbury head at sunrise! So it was great to see the colours at this wedding.

Now it’s good luck for it to rain on your wedding day so I know that Kinga and Vil will have awesome luck as it rained pretty much all day! It’s actually unusual for it to rain all day, you normally get a few moments during the day. Of course the rain didn’t dampen the day one bit, everyone had a fabulous wedding and spirits (including vodka) were high throughout. This wedding was so colourful like all asian weddings are, with some traditional polish touches too for good measure.

I started my day with Kinga at their flat where it was obvious that photographs are an important thing for them. I was joined later by the impressive Phillip Allen as part of our exchange program with Dorset wedding photographers we like to operate in these parts. From there it was umbrellas to the rescue for Kinga to walk out of the Parley Manor house and into the marquee. I loved the ceremony with some special vows and roses exchanged in addition to rings. Then it was into party mode for the wedding guests with vodka, polish beers and some indian beers to show the proper multicultural wedding this was.

We were treated to some wonderful oration by the speakers before indian drummers ushered the start of the evening party. Both these guys can dance! as can a lot of their guests. We even saw a conga line formed by the bride herself! What a brilliant day and it just shows that the rain can’t stop people having a great wedding or great photographs!
