I started off with Jen at home getting some make-up finished off.

Then I went onto the church in shaftesbury where I took some photographs of Simon on golds hill with his best men and ushers.

Then the lovely bridesmaids arrived at the church.

You may remember the Engagement party that I photographed in Southampton last year. I photographed the Mehndi on Thursday of this week (sneak peek of that to follow at some stage).

The food was brilliant as was the DJ and the event staff.

The colours at an Asian wedding are awesome! it’s so colourful and a great celebration! I loved the whole day and the fact that everyone was so friendly!

It was actually really difficult to choose a sneek peak from all the wonderful wedding photographs from their day. Already I can see it’s going to be an epic blog post! So much happening and so many stunning photos, really can’t wait for them to see them.

Anyway I decided to choose one from the bridal preparations… So here’s Saira looking serene before the ceremony.

Hampshire Asian Wedding Photography

Todays wedding was a brilliant one that ended up at Athelhampton House Dorset.We started in Tolpuddle, Dorset for the bridal preparations then we travelled to the church in Puddletown for the wedding ceremony. Finally we travelled to the splendid Athelhampton House in beautiful rural Dorset for the wedding reception. I feel honoured being a wedding photographer based in Dorset to be able to cover such great wedding venues.
The Staff at Athelhampton House were brilliant as always and John and Sue were brilliant throughout the day too. It was such a brilliant day and even a bit of a heat mist didn’t stop everyone having a brilliant day.

When we got to Athelhampton House there was a Scottish piper waiting to greet us! His bagpipe playing was outstanding.

The guests then had reception drinks whilst waiting for Sue and John to Arrive,  just as the sun came out! Perfect Timing!

After some candid photographs of the guests and everyone enjoying themselves then we photographed a few formal groups.

The grounds at Athelhampton House are brilliant and offer so many options for wedding photography – so we went on a mini tour of the grounds to get some bride and groom photographs.

All shot with the nikon 35mm f/2 lens @ f/5.6.
