Larmer Tree Wedding Photographer – Engagement shoot with Darren and Sarah
I met up with Darren and Sarah at the Larmer Tree Gardens ahead of their summer wedding next year. It was certainly not summer, in fact it was very cold indeed. It was so cold there was snow. Something we don’t see all that often and it was too good a chance to miss. Sarah and Darren are both in the Forces and I’m always happy to shoot Army Weddings, Navy Weddings and even Airforce weddings. In fact I end up shooting a lot of military weddings, which I love as they do our country proud! Anyway enough patriotism for one post and on with the story. The Larmer Tree Gardens are lovely in the summer, and Gail does a great job of making everything run smoothly and like clockwork. It was great to see the Larmer Tree Gardens in the snow too though. Probably too cold for the larmer tree peacocks.
The Larmer Tree Gardens makes a great location for a wedding whatever time of year, you can even have your wedding ceremony outside if you’d like (I’ve photographed outside before now).
So after taking a stroll around the Gardens with Darren and Sarah and discussing their wedding arrangements we got on with the engagement shoot. This is a great way to get used to the camera before your big day.
Here’s a few images from the shoot complete with snow.
