The Gregg School Hampshire Wedding Photographer – Jack and Kat

This Summer I’ve been looking forward to photographing the wedding of Jack and Kat at the Gregg School in Southampton Hampshire. The day started at Kat’s Parents in Southampton where she was getting ready with some of her old Southampton University friends (where i used to teach circuits). After that we were off to Southampton City Art Gallery. I used to live in Southampton so I know the place well. The art gallery is a beautiful place for a wedding ceremony. The ceremony was amazing with the rings being tied on so tight that they had to be bitten off the cushion by the best man! All was good though the rings were taken off in time for the ceremony.
After the ceremony there was time for some mingling outside in the fountain. It was then time to head off to the Gregg School.

The Gregg School is where i’d done Kat and Jacks e-shoot – so i knew all the places to go and it was even more beautiful than it had been for the e-shoot. The light was beautiful too, with a glorious warm sunny day. Although it was so hot that someone feinted! The drama was soon over though and everyone was having such an awesome time that the photography was so easy for me to capture people having a great fun time. It’s weddings like this that make me happy to be a wedding photographer!
The wedding reception was soon progressed through to the wedding breakfast where I was treated to 3 delicious courses. This was much appreciated!

For the evening I’d arrange a photobooth for the evening fun! After some great speeches that saw Jack make an escape and re-entry to the room through a nearby window!

The jewish chair dancing after the first dance was amazing too! I love photographing the special parts of a wedding and this was no exception
