Fran and Brett – Portland and Weymouth Wedding Photography

Today was my closest wedding ever! I started on Portland (where I live) to meet up with Brett for his getting ready photographs. Being a man Brett wasn’t ready but it didn’t take him long to get dressed and into his wedding suit finery, though it took the best man Geoff a little longer. It was then off to see the wonderful bride Fran (still on Portland) who was almost ready, she was just having the finishing touches of the dress being laced up when I arrived from Bretts. Everyone was calm and enjoying the whole experience. There were a few emotional moments when Fran first came down the stairs in her awesome wedding dress though! I then disappeared off to Portland Castle where Brett and some of the guests arrive. It was then we had out only bit of rain of the day, which was handy as it made the superb capri Brett had arrived in look lush! Shortly afterwards Fran arrived at Portland Casle in her limousine with her parents and bridesmaids. Everyone was looking amazing! After an emotion wedding ceremony it was time for some amazing food and drinks before a few formal photographs and a few portraits around the castle before heading up to the heights for a photograph by the olympic rings looking out off the island and out over Weymouth towards Abbotsbury hill. It was now time for the reception at the Riviera Hotel in Weymouth, situated by Bowleaze cove this palatial hotel looks fabulous as you approach. Before I knew it everyone was sitting down for the wedding breakfast.

I’ll leave you with a couple of panorama’s from Portland Castle and the Riviera Hotel and of course a portrait of Brett and Fran by the olympic rings at the top of Portland.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Selby!

I look forward to reading your comments.
