Bartley Lodge Wedding Photography – Ross and Lucy
What a wonderful day for a wedding! A sumptuous sunny day! After a suspect looking few days Ross and Lucy’s wedding was blessed with great sunshine and much happiness! I started the day by arriving at Lucy’s house to capture some preparation for the day ahead. Everyone was well organised and things were going exactly to plan. After arranging the beautiful bouquets for some photographs I documented the rest of the preparations before heading off to meet Ross at the pub. Before we knew it, it was time to head to the church to get things ready. After bargaining with the vicar as to what I could/couldn’t do I found my allocated 1 sq.cm of space and put a video camera there (I video’d the ceremony). It was now time for Lucy and all her bridesmaids and flower girls to turn up.

The ceremony at the church was very touching with both Lucy and Ross being really quite emotional. It was lovely to see.
Wedding reception at Bartley Lodge
After the ceremony it was time to head off to Bartley Lodge. Bartley Lodge is a fab wedding venue, set in the new forest just off the M27 and A31 it has lush grounds (and also a walled garden we managed to get into later). It was a short drive away so I had chance to speed ahead and get photos of the room setup before anyone arrived. 🙂
After some mingling and a few formal (and less formal) photographs it was time for the wedding breakfast. Lucy and Ross had elected to do the speeches first which I love as means that everyone can relax and enjoy their meal rather than worrying about their speech. Though no-one needed to worry they were a fantastic set of speeches (again video’d).
Ross and Lucy had kindly sorted me out with a bacon burger for my food so I enjoyed eating that whilst doing a mini slideshow for the evening of the photos so far.
The whole day was amazing and I am so glad to be part of it.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Bryant! Enjoy Mauritius!
